| La Femme Electrique Cd Release Party
~ featuring: Blindsider, Ayris, Tiffany Apan, Surviving the Odyssey La Femme Electrique Started as an annual concert at the Shadow Lounge with various bands and musicians featuring female musicians. What was hoped to be created with La Femme Electrique Concert Series and Compilation CD is a larger appreciation for women in music first locally, and eventually regionally. By shedding light on such talented local bands it is believed we can push beyond the stereotype of a handful of women in rock bands as gimmicks in a sea of men. The La Femme Electrique CD Release show on December 28th will feature the above mentioned bands and the compilation cd featuring 7 local bands will be for sale the night of the show.
